Really, everyone should get their eyes tested right now. I really had come to believe that the world gradually get fuzzier with every passing year. Turns out the world is still the same and my eyeballs are deteriorating!

As you may have noticed from my last post I have popped the dark glass out of my wayfarers and am wearing them as geek specs.
Er, only joking! The reluctant truth is I NEED GLASSES. I stumbled to the opticians in a blurry headache fueled mess. The eye test took a whole hour where she poked and prodded my eye and throughly questioned me. At one point she gave me orange eye drops that made my eyes look like mandarin oranges to ‘test my tears’. Ha, bet its just opticians having fun to put the day in. Anyways, i have enlisted the mother to help me pick frames. I would love something retro but probs cant afford anything too swish.

Funny optician story!
In a long set of questions she asked if anyone in my family had ever been to the hospital with any eye-related problems. I said no, and she looked at me deadly serious and asked if I had any knowledge of anyone who had attended hospital with eye problems.
I’m thinking, ” well yeah, Bill Bailey told a story about the man who mowed the lawn in flipflops and cut off his own little toe on the left foot. It spun round in the blades and pinged up into his face pokin him in the eye”. However, I just sniggered internally and said no.

5 days agoRule 1. Don’t sing an Oasis song to take the piss out of Oasis. The crowd will know it better than they will ever know your stuff and will sing-a-long with mucho gusto. Wonderwall = Glasto anthem.
Rule 2. When stopping to let the crowd sing-a-long to 99 problems, make sure its the best known line they get to sing. Otherwise it sounds poor.
Rule 3. More a comment than rule. I like what you’ve did there - Amy should be in Rehab. Ha
Rule 4. We don’t really like Bush that much but we definetly don’t want to see his big face on the screen. Get Beyonce out. Shake it Gal!
yes…. its Glasto again. i have been following it on BBC! So far enjoyed Elbow, Duffy, The Wombats, missed Hot chip, watching Amy. Amy looks a little top heavy and I fear she may just strip off her dress as it looks a little restrictive!

So anyways: New topshop belfast; Treated myself to some sensible trousers, a white jumper (completly impractical) and a leopard print mac. Behold:
I’m thinking of teaming the cute jumper with a nice lampshade skirt and high heels. Cant find any inspirational pics tho. Help!
The shop isn’t as big as I first thought but its great. Still only, like, 3 racks of tall gear but even so, still good. Great mechandising at the main door. I would have bought all of it if possible.
Also got some photo frames for out new shelves etc!
